Great diner style place that is friendly and has tasty food. Love the small town feel and friendliness of this comfortable place!

Just ate there yesterday and all I can say is AMAZING! Friendly staff, homey feel to the place, generous portions! The pancakes were fluffy, the bacon was perfect and the home fries were some of the best I've had! I'll definitely be going back! Highly recommend it!

Food was mediocre, homemade bread was good. Brought child's food last, place is very dirty. Sticky table and booster seat, carpet filthy.

OMG THIS PLACE! My boyfriend and I are camping at Ausable Point Campgrounds and decided to go out for breakfast this morning and BOY are we glad we did!!! I got corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, home fries w onions and peppers, and French toast (homemade bread).. boyfriend had veggie and cheese omelette and fries (He’s gluten free). Everything was absolutely amazing. Prices are great as well. And all social distancing guidelines are being met. Coming back tomorrow for more!

My husband and I went there for lunch today. We sat at a dirty table for 5 minutes before someone finally came over and washed it off. Took forever for us to get our drinks. The service was not that great. The waitress was not overly friendly, never asked us if everything was ok. NEVER been at a restaurant where the waitress didn't ask you that. The food was not that good. Have had a lot better. We asked for the check and waited longer than we should have to get it. It was SO noisy, my husband and I couldn't even carry on a conversation together at our table. Don't ever plan on going back there. I have to wonder if all the good reviews were from friends. Peru is a small town and everybody knows everybody.

The food was very good the atmosphere was excellent, they forgot to put potatoes in my wife's garbage omelette and when she made mention of it they quickly rectified the situation by giving her a side order of potatoes. The place is very neat and clean, and the atmosphere was very homey. We definitely are going back, because we also thought the prices were very reasonable. And doesn't hurt the fact that the food was delicious.

A Quite and comfort atmosphere; like sitting down a gramas having a home cooked breakfast. The aroma of fresh bread filling your nostrils. Definitely a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! It is simply what a diner should be. They have the basics of a menu that you'd be looking for in a menu. Their simple menu allows them to make each item correctly. I love their homemade sunflower bread. The staff is friendly and amazing. If you haven't been here you are missing out. For a while they were cash only, I'm not sure if they now accept debit and credit cards

Was in the first day of phase three. My husband's birthday and he wanted breakfast. We entered masked and hungry. The woman who waited on us was pleasant, but unmasked. We were very uncomfortable, but we stayed . The food was great, but again, was disappointed about the disregard of a mask for the waitress. It will be a while before we decide to return. And shame on us, for sure, for staying. We are equally at fault for not asking the woman to protect herself and the folks she was waiting on. It's hard enough to step out, again for folks. We'd been in a long time, like everyone. It's a simple task.

We were advised to try Green Acres. Such a great suggestion. The owner Donna and her wonderful staff are welcoming to all. Have never had an “oops” of a meal. Homemade breads and desserts and all ingredients are prepared on site. We have made our own suggestions and have had folks join us on our frequent visits Danielle and Shelby wait tables and so much more. They known most customers by name but it doesn’t matter because they treat everyone like regulars. Paul is amazing and prepares everything, even the weird requests he gets from us!Please go once and I am relatively sure you will return!!

Great Americana diner in a beautiful small town setting!!

Green Acres is the best local restaurant for great home cooked meal. Whenever I have a visitor in town, I take them to Green Acres for breakfast. Their homemade bread is second to none. While it is the standard fare, it is just made so well. It's the food you want, cooked excellently, at a price you can afford.
